I feel like punk, and obviously the misfits, are somehow related to dirty, twangy country…so submitted for your approval:

Maybe its that in both there can be bare, simply relatable chords and melodies…I guess it’s true of most American music thats close to it’s origins. Blah, blah, blah…it’s either that or I just like both songs about vampires and the smokey mountains and need to reconcile the two.
