More love for Kurt von Stetten's latest, Androlafi!. The Noise calls it "Music that shouts to be heard." Why thank you. And the lovely folks at Golden Mixtape say it's "An indie delight." All in a days work.

Nice little write-up of Kurt von Stetten's Antrhopos Elafi video (from his latest, Androlafi) via the fine folks at Beats Per Minute.
We couldn't be more excited about Vans pairing our own Kurt von Stetten with the amazing BMX rider Dan Sandoval. The track is "He's no Writer" off Kurt's 2011 release, Cyclops. The rest speaks for itself.
Love from across the pond sounds like this: "Almost taking us back to the very birth of modern guitar music. This is the complete antithesis of so called "manufactured pop". Naturally it'll sell a fraction of what that will, but we'd choose this any day." That's The Sound of Confusion on Androlafi, the new record by Kurt von Stetten. Right on.
About Kurt von Stetten
Kurt von Stetten began experimenting with music and recordings in Boston during the summer of 1996. During this time, he began to experience terrible bouts of "self proclaimed" bromhidrosis (look it up), forcing him to record alone in his bedroom. For a period of 10 years, von Stetten holed up in his bedroom studio and learned how to play guitar and drums by recording himself over and over again.
He has since released a full-length album every year for the last 7 years on which he plays every instrument. He also plays drums with The Longwalls and is the former front man of the Drama Queens.
See him live with The Longwalls, and go check him out on his blog.
