Welcome to Static Motor Recordings––a Boston-based indie label and home to americana popsmiths The Longwalls and DIY indie rock kingpin Kurt Von Stetten.
The goal is simple: try to provide a bit of a voice for some great music, and hopefully make a few coins in the process to support the creation of more. We also plan to do interesting things with packaging so that people get a real artifact when they make a purchase. Otherwise, most everything is also available on MP3s via iTunes, and if you register (free) there's plenty of stuff you can download for nuthin'. Collectibles on one hand, instant gratification on the other. It's up to you!
For physical purchases we use PayPal, so you know it's secure. You can use your PayPal account or a major credit card. And we typically get stuff out in the mail to you the same day.
