The live embodiment of the Kurt Von Stetten Sound™, the Drama Queens are big and loud and utterly adorable (just ask Andy and Jen at Band in Boston). Featuring the high-concept smashing of Drive Time blogger Ravi Jain, KVS himself, Brandon from The Longwalls, and Kevin Kill Buzz, the DQ brandish a sound not unlike Syd Barrett fronting Harmacy-era Sebadoh..but way faster and a tick louder. I know! While already a "great success" (just ask Kurt), no official recordings are planned as of yet, but they will write and record together at some point--and you'll be able to check it out here (says me). Very nice.
