The Longwalls release party for “Gold Standard” set for Saturday, March 7

The Longwalls - Gold Standard

Join The Longwalls on Saturday, March 7 as they celebrate the release of their new full-length album, Gold Standard. The party will be held at Bridge Sound and Stage—the studio where the album was recorded—and will feature an opening performance by Longwalls bassist Dan London. What’s more? The entire night is being recorded—audio and video—and admissions is… FREE!! Mark your calendars and RSVP here. Space is limited! Hope to see you there!

The Longwalls live on air!

And possibly a bit tipsy. Give a listen to WEMF this Saturday afternoon from 4-6pm and hear the mighty Longwalls on The Outlaw Radio Show. They’ll be hanging with host extraordinaire Ryan Spaulding and previewing a track or two from their forthcoming new album—The Gold Standard. They’ll also be playing a few things acoustic-style. Rumor has it there will be whiskey. Uh-oh. We suggest you tune in…

Much new music on the way!

Making making making. That’s what we do! Here’s the latest… The new Longwalls album, tentatively titled The Gold Standard, is nearing completion. 11 songs (!) are in the hopper over at Bridge Sound and Stage and we’re close to mixing time. Look for a fall release. In the meantime, the new solo album by Dan LondonI Will Take You Back—will be released this summer. Produced with long-time co-conspirator Mike Quinn at Moontower Studio (Q Division), IWTYB is a late 70s drive-in movie sort of record that takes you back in time. And of course our DIY wunderkind Kurt von Stetten is always at work. Follow along on his stellar music blog. His latest demo—I work figuratively (mostly… mostly)—is an absolutely wonderful bit of garage-tastic power pop. He’s got another record in him for sure, no word on timing just yet. More soon, stay tuned!
