Ingenious, infectious, and practically anthemic!

Our own Kurt von Stetten is doing quite well on local radio! In January he cracked the top 10 at WMBR, and recently he’s found his way into the top 10 of The Noise montly radio chart for March! Good on ya, Kurt!!
“The pure sound of these songs provide such visceral pleasure.” Some very kind words indeed on The Longwalls’ Careers in Science from the Boston Globe! Meanwhile, Oh So Fresh! Music thinks the album is a bit like “modern Springsteen, but with an indie touch.” We’ll take it!!
Hey ya’ll! A few things to check out: (1) Brandon’s colleague Alex talks about Careers in Science album art design over on the Sametz blog! (2) Ride the Tempo gave the album a nice ‘lil mention. Curious about The Longwalls’ upcoming Careers in Science album?!? Head on over to Alan’s blog where he’s talking about the thinking behind each song, posting early demos, live recordings, and a few of the final cuts. Some good readin’ we reckon..
Our own Kurt von Stetten, along with a number of local rock luminaries, offer their New Year’s resolutions to the Boston Globe. Kurt takes a haiku approach.. naturally…
