We’re pleased as punch to announce Bon Fortuna—the new record by Kurt von Stetten—is on sale now! Dreamy, bold and always irreverent, Kurt returns with a glorious dispatch of fearlessly fuzzed-out art pop. And this one is a bit of a milestone: 10 solo albums in 10 years with Kurt playing every instrument on every track. Perhaps more impressive is the fact that this album is just so damn dynamic and fun to listen to. It might be his best ever, and that’s saying something. Check out the video for the first single, Spanish Ship, and be sure to hit up Kurt on Twitter for a chance to win one of the very few custom physical copies he’s producing at home as well as Bon Fortuna t-shirts. Hope you get a chance to check it out and support this amazing artist! Enjoy!
“Another fantastic von Stetten album… it very well be his most solid work to date, and that’s saying quite a bit.” That’s what our pals at Visions of the Unexcused have to say about the new Kurt von Stetten album, Bon Fortuna. Meanwhile Bishop and Rock call Bon Fortuna, “a dreamy, multi-layered and methodical record.“
“‘Spanish Ship’ is still a powerful statement. It’s bold, hard-hitting, well-crafted, and at well under three-minutes it doesn’t outstay its welcome. Plus, it’s not even the best track on the LP, which shows you just how good this guy is.” Wow, kind words indeed from The Sound of Confusion. Thank you! KvS‘ Bon Fortuna is on sale 10/6.
Get ready folks! Bon Fortuna—The 10th solo album from Kurt von Stetten is on its way! Look for a digital release on 10/6, and if you follow KvS on Twitter keep an eye out for give-aways of physical copies– it’s the only way to get your hands on the real thing. In the meantime, check out Spanish Ship, track 1 from the album.
Wow, what a summer. And now, back to school. Our own Kurt von Stetten has completed his 10th solo album in 10 years! Damn. It’s called Bon Fortuna and is slated for an October release date. Meanwhile, The Longwalls will soon be releasing Live at the Bridge—a live concert video shot/recorded during their Gold Standard release show back in March. It’s black and white and looks and sounds great. The band is also working on some new material and will record a couple songs this fall. Look out for a digital single by the end of the year. And, 10 years after its release, Gatsby’sFloods + Fires has been touched up and remastered with 2 previously unreleased tracks added in. Look out for Floods + Fires [Turbo Edition] later this fall. All that and more… stay tuned!
